A 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Kailali district on Saturday morning.
The victim, Yachana Sejuwal, was attacked with a knife by her co-worker Niraj Saud at Rajdhani Sekuwa and Momo Center located in Ward No. 1 of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality. Sejuwal was originally from Ward No. 3 of the same rural municipality and worked at the restaurant.
According to DSP Rajkumar Singh, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the incident took place around 10 AM. Saud, 33, reportedly stabbed her during working hours.
Sejuwal was rushed to Nisarg Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment but died shortly after.
Her body has been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem. Police have arrested Saud, and the motive behind the attack is still under investigation.
