25 People Arrested from Hotels in Surkhet for Public Offense
Surkhet police have arrested 25 people from three hotels in Birendranagar on Sunday. According to the District Police Office, 14 men and 11 women were taken into custody.
Police said they were arrested from Hardik, Dangali, and Bikash hotels for disturbing the peace and spreading indecency, which goes against public interest and morality.
District Police Office spokesperson DSP Mohan Jung Budhathoki stated that hotel operators were also among those arrested.
Police have registered a case against them for violating public interest, health, safety, and moral standards, and further investigation is ongoing.
