6 People Arrested with Drugs in Kailali

Six people have been arrested with illegal drugs in Kailali district. A joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau branch in Dhangadhi and various police units caught them during checks in Tikapur and Dhangadhi areas.

In Tikapur Municipality-9, at the Khakraula checkpoint, police found 900 milligrams of brown heroin with two people: 19-year-old Hikmat Rawat from Rajapur Municipality-1, Bardiya, and 28-year-old Chhabi BK from Geruwa Rural Municipality-4.

At the same checkpoint, police also found 1.29 grams of drugs with three more people: 23-year-old Nirajan Baduwal from Lamki Chuha Municipality-5, 20-year-old Suresh BK from Ward No. 2, and 22-year-old Anmol BK from Ward No. 6.

Similarly, in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-7, police stopped a motorcycle with plate number Su Pra 01-012 Pa 9151. The rider, 19-year-old Dipesh Basnet from Attariya-18, was found carrying 1.69 grams of brown heroin.

According to the District Police Office Kailali, all six have been taken into custody for further investigation.
