A 69-year-old man named Rajkumar Rai from Mattim Birta, Sakela Rural Municipality-5, has died after being beaten by his own nephew.
According to local officials, 31-year-old Nyusan Rai attacked him around 7 PM on Saturday. Rajkumar, who was injured in the incident, died the next morning.
He was taken to the District Hospital in Diktel for treatment, but he died around 3:45 AM during treatment, said police spokesperson Sushant Mishra.
Nyusan was arrested at the scene, and police have started an investigation. The reason behind the dispute is still unknown.
