Body of Missing Diver Suraj Saud Found in Saptakoshi River
The body of diver Suraj Saud, who had gone missing in the Saptakoshi River, has been found.
According to Armed Police Force (APF) Deputy Superintendent and spokesperson Shailendra Thapa, the body was recovered near gate number 55 of the Koshi Barrage.
The body was found by an experienced diving team led by APF DSP Purushottam Bhandari, who had come from Kurintar for the search.
Suraj Saud and another diver, Hardev Singh Rajbanshi, went missing in the Saptakoshi during a training session on June 5 (22nd Jestha). Singh’s body was recovered the next day, but Saud remained missing until now.
