Kylian Mbappe’s Big 50 and France’s Chill Win Over Germany

In the Nations League match for third place, France beat the host Germany 2–0.

Mbappe scored his 50th goal in this game and also helped with another goal. Before the match, France’s coach Didier Deschamps said the team was not very excited about this game.

He said, “It’s just a game, we will play, but we are not excited.”

France played without injured players Osman Dembele and Bradley Barcola. Both teams had lost in the semifinals and were playing for third place.

Germany lost 2–1 to Portugal on Wednesday, and France lost 5–4 to European champions Spain on Thursday.
