An elderly man has been found dead in Kailali district. According to police, 80-year-old Nayaran Ram Jaishi from Lamkichuha Municipality-1 was discovered lifeless around 5:30 PM on Wednesday.
District Police Office spokesperson DSP Rajkumar Singh said Jaishi was found dead in the yard of 55-year-old Berma Bhandari, who is a relative of his (nephew).
There were no visible injuries on the body. However, since there were financial dealings between the two, police have taken Bhandari into custody for investigation.
The body has not yet been removed from the scene, as Jaishi’s son is on the way from Kathmandu. Police say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
