German club Borussia Dortmund have advanced to the last 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup after defeating South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai 1-0 on Wednesday.
The win not only secured Dortmund’s place in the knockout stage but also confirmed them as Group F winners.
Dane Swensson scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute, giving Dortmund the lead in the first half.
Dortmund dominated the game from the start with an attacking display that kept Ulsan under pressure.
They finished the group stage with 7 points, two ahead of Brazilian side Fluminense. South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns ended third with 4 points.
