A young man has been found dead in Siraha district.
The body of 43-year-old Ajay Mahara, son of local resident Ramsewak Mahara, was discovered in Budhiyachap, Arnama Rural Municipality-1. He was found lying on the ground with a scarf wrapped around his neck.
According to Siraha police spokesperson DSP Birendra Kumar Pasman, the body was found this morning under a mango tree near the house of a local resident named Mulif Ali Mansur.
Locals noticed the body and informed the police right away.
DSP Pasman said that the scarf was tightly wrapped around the man’s neck. The District Police Office in Siraha said an investigation is currently underway.
Based on the condition of the scene, police suspect it could be a case of murder.
