The Nepal national cricket team will prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup qualifiers by playing a T20 series in Australia.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on Friday that Nepal will take part in a T20 series organized by Northern Territory Cricket in Australia.

CAN considers this series as a key part of Nepal’s preparation for the T20 World Cup qualifiers.

The series will be held from August 14 to August 24.

Named the Top End T20 Series, the tournament is approved by Cricket Australia and follows the T20 format. It takes place in the Northern Territory region.

This series is usually held every year before the Australian Big Bash League and is seen as a warm-up event for players preparing for the BBL season.
