Body of Man Missing While Fishing in Udayapur’s Triyuga River Found
The body of a young man who went missing while fishing under a broken bridge of the Triyuga River in Chaudandigadhi-5, Udayapur, has been found.
According to Inspector Babin Rai of the Area Police Office, Beltar, the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Suraj Rai from Kalikhola, Chaudandigadhi-6.
He said, “Suraj had gone missing while fishing near the damaged bridge of the Triyuga River. Search efforts had been ongoing since yesterday.”
A team from the Armed Police Force recovered the body from beneath the broken bridge. It has been sent to Beltar Municipal Hospital for post-mortem.
On Monday, Suraj had gone to the river with his friends Pratap Rai and Suresh Majhi. While his friends were swimming, Suraj went fishing and disappeared.
