It’s been exactly 10 years since the release of Baahubali: The Beginning, the film that changed Indian cinema and captured hearts across the world. To celebrate this milestone, the makers have announced the return of the epic saga to the big screen.

Titled Baahubali: The Epic, this re-release will bring together both original films—The Beginning (2015) and The Conclusion (2017)—into a special edition for fans. The movie will hit theatres again on October 31, 2025 (14 Kartik).

The announcement was made on social media, where the creators wrote: “Ten years ago, one question united the nation. Now, the question and the answer are returning together in one grand version.”

That question—“Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?”—became a viral moment and sparked massive anticipation for the sequel back in 2017.

Together, the two films earned over ₹4,000 crore globally, with the first collecting ₹2,300 crore and the second ₹1,788 crore. The franchise became a cultural phenomenon thanks to its powerful storyline, visual effects, emotional depth, and iconic characters.

Prabhas played the dual roles of Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali. The cast also included Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, and Ramya Krishnan.

Baahubali was not only a blockbuster in India but also performed strongly in Nepal and other international markets. With Baahubali: The Epic, fans now have a chance to relive the magic on the big screen once again.
