CAN begins prep for NPL 2, auction set for August
Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has started preparing for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
On Friday, CAN announced on social media that the countdown for the players’ auction has officially begun.
Before the second edition, all 8 teams have already released their retention lists.
According to CAN’s annual calendar, a mini auction is scheduled to be held in August. CAN also confirmed that all auction-related activities will be completed within that month.
Now, CAN is expected to announce the player registration process, auction rules, and the official auction date soon.
In the first edition of the NPL, Janakpur Bolts won the title by defeating Far West Royals in the final.
