Jeep accident in Baitadi kills two, injures six

Two people died and six others were injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi on Saturday morning. According to police, the jeep (registration number Su Pra 01001 Ja 1372) crashed around 6 AM at Khirpali Mode in Patan Municipality-6, along the Dasharathchand Highway.

The deceased have been identified as Santosh Bahadur Rana (24), the driver, and Kiran Chaudhary (32), both residents of Dilasaini Rural Municipality-1, Nagarau. They were seriously injured and taken to Patan Primary Health Center, where they died during treatment, said DSP Tek Bahadur Jora, spokesperson for the Provincial Traffic Police Office.

Six others were injured in the crash. They are:
