A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his neighbor by pouring petrol on him and setting him on fire in Rajkhor, Gaushala.
Police have arrested 30-year-old Surendra Sah for setting 50-year-old Baliram Sah on fire on Asad 26 in Gaushala-4, Rajkhor.
According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, Surendra was arrested from Madhubani, India, on Thursday afternoon. Police said Baliram died during treatment on Wednesday.
After the incident, the seriously injured Baliram was first taken to a nearby health center. He was then referred to Kathmandu for further treatment, but could not survive.
