Oli calls Bhandari’s return to politics a serious matter

Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that former President Bidya Devi Bhandari returning to politics is a serious matter.

Speaking at the Politburo meeting held at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Oli said the party will come to a proper conclusion on this issue.

“Involvement in politics by someone who has held a respected position like the President — the highest and most honorable post of the country, a symbol of national unity and the pride of the republic — is a serious matter,” Oli said in the meeting. “The party will make a decision at the right time.”

Oli had expressed a similar opinion during the Secretariat meeting earlier.
