A young man was killed in Janakpur after being attacked with a sharp weapon and pushed from the first floor of a hotel.
According to police, the victim has been identified as 28-year-old Bimlesh Yadav, also known as Shani, from Parsa in Mahottari Rural Municipality-1.
He was found injured at Hotel SP & Guest House in Zero Mile, Janakpur, around 3 AM on Saturday. He had injuries from a sharp weapon and was thrown from the upper floor.
DSP Barun Bahadur Singh, the spokesperson of Dhanusha Police, said Yadav died during treatment at Provincial Hospital Janakpur at 7:45 AM on Sunday.
Police say he had checked into the hotel with a young woman. They suspect the woman might have been involved in planning the murder.
The body has been kept at Provincial Hospital Janakpur for post-mortem, and further investigation is ongoing.
