Police have made public a young woman arrested for the murder of 28-year-old Bimlesh Yadav, also known as Shani, from Parsaa in Mahottari Rural Municipality-1.
On Monday morning, Dhanusha District Police Office presented 24-year-old Juli Jha from Banauta, Balwa Municipality-7, at a press conference.
Jha is accused of stabbing Bimlesh and pushing him off a floor at Hotel SP and Guest House in Janakpur on Saturday night. Bimlesh died during treatment at Provincial Hospital Janakpur at 7:45 AM on Sunday.
According to CCTV footage, Bimlesh and Juli entered the hotel at 9:55 PM on Saturday. About five hours later, at 2:57 AM on Sunday, Bimlesh was seen falling naked and bleeding from the first floor. Moments later, Juli was seen running away. Based on this footage, police arrested her on Sunday afternoon.
