Man killed while trying to stop brother and sister-in-law’s fight in Siraha
Motiram Sada, 35, of Golbazar Municipality-3 in Siraha, was killed with a khukuri while trying to stop a domestic fight between his younger brother and sister-in-law.
According to DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, Motiram was attacked by his 25-year-old brother Shyam Sada on Thursday night around 9 PM, during a heated argument between Shyam and his wife Kaushalya Sada.
Motiram was seriously injured and died during treatment at Provincial Hospital, Lahan around 11:15 PM.
Shyam, who had fled after the attack, was arrested by Siraha police this morning near the border area of Aurahi Rural Municipality. Police are continuing their investigation.
