A farmer died after being electrocuted in Saptari. The victim was 42-year-old Shambhu Kumar Ishar from Kataiya, Rupani Rural Municipality-3.
According to Saptari police spokesperson DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, the incident happened this morning when Ishar was switching on a motor in a paddy field near his village.
He died on the spot. The District Police Office, Saptari, said further investigation is underway.
