At the Digital Nepal Conclave 2025, Google Maps Street View head Nishant Nair announced that people around the world can now see Nepal’s beautiful scenery and culture online.
He said Nepal has many stunning temples and rich natural heritage, and Street View will allow anyone to explore these virtually. Users can now walk through the lively streets of Kathmandu, explore the peaceful Terai region, or take a virtual drive along winding roads with views of snow-covered mountains.
Nair explained that this can be done easily on a phone or computer, giving people a closer look at Nepal’s history, ancient temples, palaces, busy markets, and vibrant traditions.
He said this will give the world a new and exciting way to experience Nepal, helping promote its rich culture and tourism potential.
