This is Pandey’s fifth peak as part of the Seven Summit campaign, which he has been pursuing since 2022.

Previously, he climbed Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, in 2018. He also successfully climbed Mount Elbrus in Russia (Europe’s highest peak), Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (Africa’s highest) in November 2024, and Mount Aconcagua in South America in February this year.

Pandey has also raised awareness about climate change during his climbs. During this expedition, he discussed climate issues with local authorities and mountaineers from different countries.
