Ahree debuts with English song ‘Toxic Truth’

Aryan Sigdel’s niece, Ahree, has released her debut English song titled “Toxic Truth.”

Ahree, who lives in Australia, co-wrote the song with Maggie L. Barnes, while the music was composed by Fossil and Nepsic. She said the track blends dark pop, hip-hop, and Nepali/Asian music influences.

According to Ahree, “Toxic Truth” tells the story of a toxic relationship where the emotions shown are not always real, hiding a deeper, poisonous truth. She wrote it during a time when she was experiencing many different emotions at once.

Ahree shared that she has loved music since childhood and was encouraged to continue singing after humming songs as a child. She said music has been with her in every phase of her life, inspiring her to pursue it as a career.

The music video features Ahree herself, directed by Dipendra KC with heavy use of VFX and installation art. Creative direction was by Dinesh Jung Rana, cinematography by Binod Shrestha, and the video was released on Ahree’s YouTube channel.
