At least 12 people have died and 14 others are injured in a military clash along the Thailand–Cambodia border.
According to the BBC, quoting Thailand’s health minister, the dead include one soldier and 11 civilians.
Thai officials said that in Surin Province, two civilians, including an 8-year-old boy, died. One civilian died in Ubon Ratchathani Province, and eight civilians lost their lives in Sisaket Province.
