Bangladesh wins SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship after 4-0 win over Nepal

Bangladesh won the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship by beating Nepal 4-0 in the final match. The game was played at Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka.

All four goals were scored by Mosammat Sagorika. She scored in the 8th, 52nd, 58th, and 72nd minutes. Her great performance helped Bangladesh finish the tournament without losing a single match.

Bangladesh played six matches and won all of them, earning 18 points and the championship title. Nepal played six matches too, winning four but losing two, and finished with 12 points.

Nepal needed to beat Bangladesh in the final to tie on points, but Bangladesh’s strong win made them champions. This shows Bangladesh’s growing strength in women’s football at the youth level.

Nepal played well in the tournament but missed the chance to win the title.
