Olmo’s Early Goal Gives Barcelona a 1-0 Win Over Mallorca

Dani Olmo’s only goal helped league leaders Barcelona beat Mallorca 1-0 in the Spanish La Liga, giving them a 7-point lead.

In the match played last night at home, Olmo scored just 41 seconds after the start of the second half. Even though Barcelona took 24 shots in the first half, they couldn’t score. Olmo’s goal in the second half was enough to secure all 3 points.

Mallorca’s goalkeeper, Leo Roman, made some great saves, stopping Barcelona from increasing their lead.

With this win, Barcelona now has 76 points from 33 games. Real Madrid, who have played one game less, are in second place with 69 points.

Real Madrid will play against Getafe on Wednesday, giving them a chance to reduce the points gap.
