

A Bolero vehicle fell into the Bhote Koshi River in Bhote Koshi Rural Municipality–4, Sindhupalchok, along the Araniko Highway.
The vehicle, with license plate Ba 21 Cha 7544, was traveling from Tatopani to Bhadrapur when it slipped off the road into the river. The driver and co-driver went missing in the accident.
According to Jagat Bahadur Rai, Chief of Kodari Police, the missing are 23-year-old Rajesh Kumar Kuswaha (driver) and 25-year-old Ram Pravesh Mahato (co-driver) from Barahathawa Municipality–2, Sarlahi. Police said the river swept them away.
While trying to pull the Bolero out of the river with the help of a excavator, police recovered the body of one man. Another body had likely been carried away earlier by the river.
The police post in Hindi and the Kodari Police are continuing the search for the other person.
