A case has been filed against Milan Gurung, known as Chakre Milan, and 18 others.
Based on an investigation report from the Kathmandu District Police, the District Government Attorney’s Office registered the case at the Kathmandu District Court, accusing them of indecent behavior. The case is being heard by Judge Khimananda Bhusal, and statements are currently being taken.
They were arrested on July 31 in a joint operation by the Valley Crime Investigation Office and Kathmandu District Police. A total of 47 people were detained during the raid, but 28 were later released.
Those facing charges along with Chakre include Ganesh Bahadur Bogati, Nirajan Poudel, Roshan Subedi, Rajesh Khadka, Sandeep KC, Rahul Khadka, Yamu Poudel, Saurabh Sunar, Dilliram Kandel, Ritik Lama, Chandra Dev Karki, Jeet Bahadur Lama, Prakash Gole, Amir Ale Magar, Uttam Maharjan, Pranish Ketal, Raju Pariyar, and Safal Shahi.
Police said they were arrested for making noise late at night during Chakre Milan’s birthday party at Hotel Sambala in Maharajgunj.
