There was a clash between prisoners at Siraha jail. The fight happened around 3:30 PM on Sunday, and 13 inmates were injured.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Chet Raj Baral, the clash broke out due to a dispute over appointing the leader for internal management among the prisoners.
The injured are being treated at the Provincial Hospital in Siraha.
Baral said that further investigation is ongoing.
