Couple dies from electric shock while charging e-rickshaw in Saptari
A husband and wife died after getting an electric shock while charging their electric city rickshaw in Rupani Rural Municipality-2, Pouwan, Saptari, on Saturday morning.
According to police inspector Uday Kumar Rai, 45-year-old Baleshwar Khang Mandal and his 42-year-old wife, Ramkumari Khang, were charging their electric rickshaw at home when the accident happened.
First, the husband got an electric shock. When the wife tried to help him, she also got shocked.
Both of them died at the scene, police said.
