The CPN-UML has urged all political parties to engage in mutual dialogue to protect constitutional and democratic achievements.

Party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel issued the statement from the party secretariat, highlighting the need for constructive roles from all institutions in the current political situation.

The statement said, “We request the federal parliament, judiciary, provincial assemblies, provincial governments, and local bodies to play a constructive role in defending democracy. Local bodies should be able to provide services without interruption. We call on all political parties that support the constitution, democracy, the republic, peace, and national pride to come together in dialogue and reach an understanding to protect constitutional and democratic achievements.”

The UML also emphasized that after the Prime Minister’s resignation, the next political solution must follow constitutional and democratic procedures.
