Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano dos Santos, has been selected for Portugal’s Under-15 national football team for the first time.

The 14-year-old currently plays for the youth team of Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian club where his father Ronaldo also plays. Ronaldo shared his happiness on social media, proud that his son is following in his footsteps.

He wrote on his Instagram story: “Proud of you, son!”

The Portugal U-15 team is preparing to take part in the 7th edition of the “Vlatko Markovic” international tournament, which will be held in Croatia from May 13 to 18. Portugal will play four matches during the tournament.

Their first match will be against Japan on May 13, followed by Greece on May 14, and England on May 16. The opponent for the final match on May 18 has not been confirmed yet.

Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the greatest footballers in history, holding the record for the most international goals with 136 since his debut in 2003. He has led Portugal to major trophies, including the Euro 2016 and the first UEFA Nations League title.

Many fans believe that his son Santos could continue his father’s legacy and become a great footballer in the future.
