A young man has been found dead in Dhanusa district.
The body has been identified as 25-year-old Niraj Sahani, son of Chulhai Sahani, a resident of Arjunuwatol in Kshireshwornath Municipality-5.
According to DSP Barun Bahadur Singh, spokesperson of Dhanusa Police, Niraj was found lying face down in a roadside drain near the Food Corporation office in Laxminiya Rural Municipality-1, along the Janakpur-Dhalkebar road, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police have started an investigation at the scene. A black bag was also found near the body.
His family said Niraj had gone out with a relative on Tuesday evening.
