Today, two committees of the federal parliament are holding separate meetings.

The Infrastructure Development Committee is meeting to review the condition of the Kodari Highway, Rasuwagadhi, and other key roads across the country. The discussion focuses on damages and blockages caused by monsoon rains, with particular attention to road transport and infrastructure ahead of upcoming festivals, when traffic is expected to increase.

Meanwhile, the Legislative Management Committee is meeting to examine the draft report on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS.

Both meetings aim to address pressing issues in their respective areas—road safety and legislative updates.
