The fourth part of the popular Nepali film series Hostel is now officially in the works. Titled Hostel Again, the film was announced on Monday by the production team through a minimal poster.
The poster shows a bloody knife pressing down on a rose, hinting that this installment may be different from the previous teen drama themes of the series.
Hostel Again will be directed by Sisan Kandel, who also directed the hit film Hostel 3 released in 2081 BS. Writer Madhav Sharma, producers from Saman Entertainment and Aaron Khan Films, and executive producer Shankar Koirala will all return for this new chapter.
The lead male and female actors for the fourth part will be new faces, continuing the tradition of the Hostel franchise introducing fresh talent. In previous installments, actors like Anmol KC, Salon Basnet, Swastima Khadka, Sushil Sitoula, Sushil Shrestha, and Najir Husen all made their debuts.
The first Hostel film was directed by Hemraj BC in 2070 BS, and the second, Hostel Returns, was directed by Suraj Bhusal in 2072 BS.
The same production team had earlier announced a movie called Bau Versus Chhora, but director Kandel said the project has been postponed to next year due to scheduling conflicts with the actors.
