A teenage girl has died after visiting her male friend’s house in Lalitpur.
According to police, the girl went to the home of 18-year-old Aryan Pandey at Bojhepokhari, Mahalaxmi Municipality-3, on Wednesday afternoon.
While she was there, she suddenly fell unconscious. She was taken to Kist Hospital in Gwarko, where doctors declared her dead, said Kathmandu District Police spokesperson SP Chakra Raj Joshi.
Police have detained Pandey at the Satdobato Police Station for further investigation. The girl’s body is being sent for post-mortem.
Police said the girl was also 18 years old. They suspect the two may have been in a romantic relationship.
