English striker Harry Kane scored two goals to help German club Bayern Munich defeat Brazilian side Flamengo 4-2 in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16.
The exciting match took place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Bayern started strong, taking the lead in the 6th minute through an own goal by Flamengo’s Erick Pulgar. Just three minutes later, Kane scored to make it 2-0.
Flamengo responded in the 33rd minute with a goal from Gerson, but Bayern extended their lead again in the 41st minute when Leon Goretzka scored, ending the first half 3-1.
In the second half, Flamengo tried to fight back. Jorginho scored a penalty in the 54th minute to make it 3-2. However, Kane found the net again in the 73rd minute, securing a 4-2 win for Bayern.
With this win, Bayern Munich will now face Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the quarter-finals. PSG earlier defeated Inter Miami 4-0 to book their spot.
