Indian airline Indigo has arranged two charter flights on Thursday to help Indians stuck in Nepal and Nepalis stuck in India travel home.

In addition to the charter flights, Indigo has also scheduled its four regular daily flights for the day. According to Tribhuvan International Airport, these charter flights are in addition to Indigo’s normal operations.

Air travel in Nepal reopened only on Wednesday after being closed since Monday due to the Gen Z protests. Road transport is still blocked, and the Nepal–India friendship bus service has also been suspended. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has stopped people from crossing the Nepal–India land border.
