The remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume from May 17 (Jestha 3), and the final will be held on June 3 (Jestha 20).
The league was suspended after the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala was stopped midway due to a reported attack from Pakistan on Indian soil. On Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a revised schedule for the remaining games.
In a press release, BCCI said:
“We are pleased to resume TATA IPL 2025. After detailed discussions with the government, security agencies, and all stakeholders, we have decided to continue the remaining matches.”
The IPL committee added:
“A total of 17 matches will be played at 6 venues, starting May 17 and ending with the final on June 3. Double-header matches are scheduled on Sundays.”
