Lamine Yamal is now the most valuable football player in the world.
According to the latest update from Transfermarkt, a website that tracks player values, his market value has reached €200 million. This is a record amount for a 17-year-old player.
Yamal is not just the most valuable player in La Liga, but also in world football. He has set a new standard for young talent in the modern game.
In the 2024/25 season, Yamal played 55 matches in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists. Under coach Hansi Flick, he played a key role in Barcelona’s success.
Barcelona won La Liga and the Spanish Cup this season but lost to Inter Milan in the Champions League in a dramatic match. Still, Yamal’s outstanding performances helped increase his value by 11.1%.
Other Barcelona players have also seen a big rise in value. Pedri is now worth €140 million, Raphinha €90 million, and Pau Cubarsí €80 million.
