Liverpool, who have already won the league title, took an early 2–0 lead but couldn’t hold on.

Arsenal made a strong comeback in the second half to level the match.

How It Happened:

  • At Anfield, Cody Gakpo scored in the 20th minute and Luis Díaz added another just one minute later to give Liverpool a 2–0 lead.
  • In the second half, Gabriel Martinelli got one back for Arsenal in the 47th minute.
  • Mikel Merino equalized in the 70th minute.
  • Merino was later sent off with a red card in the 79th minute, leaving Arsenal with 10 players.

Despite having the advantage, Liverpool couldn’t find a winner.
