Lumbini Lavas have added two more foreign players to their squad for the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League. The club announced on Tuesday that they have signed Russian outside hitter Kseniya Tishina Rayzer and Kyrgyz player Ogulai Kudaikulova.

As a new team in the competition, Lumbini Lavas brought in these players to strengthen their squad. With the signing of three foreign players and players from the talent hunt program, the team is now complete.

Rayzer has long experience in the Russian national league and is known for her powerful spikes, strong blocking, and stable defense. Kudaikulova, a member of Kyrgyzstan’s national team, also plays as an outside hitter and is praised for her attacking power and energetic style of play.

Earlier, the club had already signed Russian blocker Veronika Zubareva as their first foreign player. The team believes the arrival of these three international players makes them much stronger.

The squad also includes Nepal women’s national team captain Aruna Shahi as the marquee player. Other national team members such as Kamana Bista and Shantikala Tamang, along with young talents Alisa Manandhar, Anusa Chaudhary, Jenisha Bishwakarma, Roma Mahato, and Rikjana Majhi, are part of the team. From the talent hunt, Lumbini signed Janaki KC.

With this mix of national and international players, Lumbini Lavas expect to be a strong contender in this season’s league.

The second edition of the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League, organized by Infinity Dreams, will take place in Pokhara from September 5 to 12 (Bhadra 20–28).
