After the water level in the Mahakali River increased, four-wheeled vehicles have been banned from using the Sharada Barrage bridge. The restriction started early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the water flow was measured at 102,742 cusecs at 7 AM. On Monday, four-wheeled vehicles were also not allowed throughout the day, but the bridge was reopened in the evening after the flow decreased.
Since the bridge is old, vehicle movement is stopped whenever the water flow crosses 100,000 cusecs.
