A young man was found dead at the swimming pool of Green Park in Birtamod-2, Jhapa, on Friday.
According to Jhapa District Police Office spokesperson DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, the deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Prakash Prasain of Birtamod-3.
He had gone to the park around 3 pm with his friend Keshav Shivakoti of Birtamod-10 to hang out and swim. While swimming, Prasain lost his life.
The park operator, Jiban Dhungana, informed the police about the incident at around 8 pm, police said.
