In Rajbiraj-1, Saptari, a man died after being attacked with an axe by his younger brother on Friday.
Police said 30-year-old Narendra Jha hit his 40-year-old brother Lokendra Jha during a household dispute in the morning.
Lokendra was seriously injured and first taken to Chhinnamasta Hospital in Rajbiraj, then referred to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, where he died at around 3:15 PM during treatment, according to DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet.
The reason for the dispute is still unknown. Narendra fled after the incident, and police are searching for him.
