Man’s body recovered after cliff fall in Bajura

The body of a man who died after falling from a cliff in Bishnapani, Triveni Municipality-9 of Bajura, on the night of Shrawan 22 (7 August , 2025) has been recovered.

A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force retrieved the body on Friday evening.

The victim, 52-year-old Biplav Ojha from Narayantar, Gokarneshwor Municipality-5 in Kathmandu, had visited Badimalika Temple and was on his way to Nateshwori Dham when he fell.

He slipped about 700 meters down into the Bishnapani stream. After the incident, police and armed police deployed for the Triveni Dham fair responded to the site.

Additional disaster-trained armed police from the Ashrit Gulm unit were called in, and they recovered the body from the gorge, according to Armed Police central spokesperson Shailendra Thapa.
