Mitchell Starc Out of IPL 2025, Mustafizur Uncertain

Delhi Capitals’ Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has decided not to play the remaining matches of IPL 2025. He has informed the franchise that he will not take part in the rest of the league.
Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether South African player Faf du Plessis will return or not. Another player, Tristan Stubbs, will play until the league stage and then return home for the World Test Championship final.
In the meantime, Delhi Capitals have signed Bangladeshi bowler Mustafizur Rahman as a replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk. However, Mustafizur’s participation is still uncertain.
Currently, Mustafizur is in Sharjah for the T20 series against the UAE.
