Nepal have qualified for the semifinals of the SAFF U-19 Championship after beating Sri Lanka 5–0 in Arunachal Pradesh, India.

This was Nepal’s first match in Group B, and the win confirmed their place in the final four with one game still left to play.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have been knocked out of the tournament. They lost their first match 8–0 to India and have now suffered two defeats in a row.

India have also secured a spot in the semifinals. The group winner will be decided in the match between Nepal and India on Tuesday.
