Nepal’s national football team will face Hong Kong in a FIFA international friendly match on June 5, 2025, at 5:45 PM NST.
Nepal, ranked 175th in the FIFA world rankings, will go up against 153rd-ranked Hong Kong in what promises to be an exciting encounter. The match will be held in Hong Kong, with the venue expected to be either the Hong Kong National Stadium or Mong Kok Stadium — final confirmation is still awaited.
Just days before facing Nepal, the Hong Kong team will also host Manchester United on May 30 in a high-profile hybrid friendly, part of the English club’s post-season Asia tour. United is also scheduled to play the ASEAN All Stars on May 28.
Nepal and Hong Kong are using the upcoming friendly to prepare for the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers (3rd Round). On June 10, Nepal will travel to face Laos, while Hong Kong will host India on the same day.
