Nepal to face Saudi Arabia in U-20 women’s Asian Cup qualifiers

In their second match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers in Thimphu, Bhutan, Nepal will face Saudi Arabia today.

The game will kick off at 1:45 PM at Changlimithang Stadium. Unlike their previous match, which was played in the evening, Nepal will play in the afternoon this time.

Nepal drew 1-1 against Bhutan in their first match, while Saudi Arabia suffered a heavy 15-0 defeat to North Korea. The draw in the first game has hurt Nepal’s chances of topping the group, especially as they still have to face strong side North Korea.

Only the group winners will directly qualify for the Asian Cup, along with the two best runners-up from all groups.
